“Blue traffic light” is a very particular piece, which bases on a poem called “Blue light” written by an Italian writer Gianni Rodari. Traffic lights (but in blue), stairs, chess, inhabitants of the subconscious, doors … Painting talks about personal overcoming that leads to inner freedom and happiness . But why traffic light is BLUE? Because this color is neutral and it is a symbol of freedom, it does not dictate or determine the speed with which we have to live. It gives us the freedom to be creators of our own universes . Throughout life, even throughout each day we take steps of different character and different importance. In a metaphorical sense. Just as it is recommended to make 10,000 steps per day, it is also recommended to have an internal dialogue with yourself and grow every day as a person, as a professional at work, as a couple.. For me, inner dialogue is comparable to playing chess ♟.
On the right side of the diptych you can see a door symbolizing the inner world, we all have inside us, which we do not share easily with everyone. It refers to the exploration of one’s internal landscape—emotions, thoughts, dreams, and subconscious mind. It is a journey into the depths of the psyche, where reality blends with imagination, and where the unseen becomes visible. In visual representation, an “Inner World” might be depicted through surreal, abstract, or symbolic imagery that evokes the complexities of human experience. Also, if you look at that part of a painting, you will see a cable, which takes energy through it from the reality to that hidden magical place.
